In this version of the film Dastardly fails to secure Scooby's help, so he steals Scooby's DNA and grows a clone of Scooby's foot which he then grafts on to the leg of Scooby's arch nemesis Topper. Dastardly then sends Topper in to the Temple of the Magnificent Dane to retrieve the macguffin leaving Scooby, the only other individual capable of entering the temple, no choice but to face his fears in order to stop Topper and save the day.
