Some deleted scenes from an early version of SCOOB dating back to 2015/16
This was the original opening scene of the movie, and was the very first thing I drew when I came on board. As you can see I wasn't very good at drawing any of the characters yet, and I'm not sure I would make the same choices today with regards to the staging and acting, but I think it's fun to see where we started!
This was a test I did in After Effect to get a more handheld camera feel into my boards. In this version we were playing with the idea that half the gang is kidnapped and Shaggy and Scooby have to assemble a new team to rescue them. This whole version was abandoned shortly after I completed this test when Dax Shepard took over as Director, with the film taking yet another new direction after he left the project.
The first version of Call me Dick, I drew this for the version of the film we were working on before Dax came on board, and three years later we dug it out and repurposed it for the final version used in the movie.
